"In early 2007 Melton Paranormal research society visited us here at the Black Horse and conducted a paranormal investigation.

"Melton are a small informal group of paranormal investigators, they focus on phenomena such as ghosts, hauntings and poltergeist activity.

"After investigating the attic, private quarters, the main bar and dining area and several of our bedrooms numerous paranormal activities were recorded.

"In our attic it was said that there were two young teenagers Alex and Eleanor, hiding, or on the run.

"In our private quarters, this is where our landlord and landlady stay, many irregularities were detected. After carrying out a ‘spirit board’, spirits made themselves known including personal relatives of our landlady, Candice.

"Previous landlords, Teachers, Young children and even a Butcher were contacted and many photos were taken which showed light anomalies/ orbs on them.

"It is said no spirits appeared to be intimidating or aggressive and had no intention of causing harm."
